Zion is a canyon with unique plant life hanging from its cliffs. The can’t is wide and has tall sharp mountains that surround the scenic drives after you cross Mt.Caramel Tunnel. Before the tunnel the park has painted dunes with tumbleweed and bare trees on the dunes. It has some mountains but not as many as Zion Canyon. There is another section of Zion National Park called “Kolob Canyons. There is no path directly to it from Zion Canyon. Instead, you have to drive half an hour up from St.George and not in the direction of Zion Canyon. Kolob Canyons is basically a mini version of Zion Canyon with mountains being smaller and the area was not as crowded.</p>
