Its forelimbs supported its heavy body, and the throat flaps beneath its neck gently fluttered. Occasionally, it would expel a short, dark purple filament, as if tasting the saltiness of the sea breeze.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 又是一條蜥蜴！也有2米多長。它昂首挺胸，屹立在巖石上，巨大的喉扇隨著微風輕輕擺動，一副大將軍鎮(zhèn)守海關(guān)的模樣。</p><p class="ql-block">Another lizard! It's also over two meters long. Standing tall and proud on the rock, it has its huge gular flaps gently swaying in the breeze, looking just like a grand general guarding a customs post.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 它通體是沉郁的灰黃色，背上聳起一排短鈍的棘鱗，像微縮的恐龍脊，令人生畏。</p><p class="ql-block">It is entirely a dark greyish-yellow color. On its back, there is a row of short and blunt spiky scales, resembling miniature dinosaur spines, which is extremely intimidating.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 近距離看看它的眼睛，一圈細密金環(huán)嵌著漆黑的瞳仁，像似在作緩慢的開關(guān)游戲，先是完全睜開，掃一眼遠處的游輪，然后上眼瞼慢慢降下來，像拉下一扇厚重的幕布，一會兒就徹底合上了。</p><p class="ql-block">Take a close look at its eyes. A ring of fine golden rings surrounds the dark pupils, as if performing a slow opening and closing game. First, they are fully opened, scanning the distant cruise ship. Then, the upper eyelid slowly drops down, like pulling down a thick curtain. In a moment, they are completely closed.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 它的眼睛時而睜開，時而又半閉成慵懶的弧形，偶爾確認一下這個世界還在，仿佛這世間就沒有什么需要它真正睜大眼睛的事了。</p><p class="ql-block">Its eyes would open and close from time to time, sometimes partially closing into a lazy arc.
