Waterfalls include Wapta Falls, on the Kicking Horse River, and towering Takakkaw Falls. A trail circles turquoise-coloured Emerald Lake, with a nearby natural stone bridge. The Lake OHara area contains alpine lakes, cliffs and wooded trails. Its highest point is 302 metres from its base, making it the 45th tallest waterfall in eastern British Columbia.</h3> <h3><br /></h3><h3><br /></h3><h3>【嘗試了一次"說走就走"的自駕游】</h3><h3>我們夫妻倆人已經(jīng)年近七旬了,今年6月17日突發(fā)奇想,決定自己駕車游覽心儀已久的加拿大落基山脈的班芙景區(qū)。</h3><h3>首先在網(wǎng)上鉆研攻略,然后著手訂制適合自己的七天行程計劃,完成預(yù)定機(jī)票、旅館和自駕所需車輛。我們6月21日離開美國,27日返回北卡的家,歷程七天。說走就走,我們做到了。每天步行控制在一萬步左右,體驗了美景,實(shí)現(xiàn)了自己多年的宿愿。</h3><h3>我們選擇在加拿大卡爾加里Calgery著陸,因為它距班芙只有個109公里約1個多小時車程;落基山脈景區(qū)內(nèi)主要有班芙、幽鶴、庫特尼和賈斯珀四個國家公園,我們只選擇在前兩個景點(diǎn)最集中的公園旅游。住宿班芙小鎮(zhèn)5晚,所有計劃內(nèi)的景點(diǎn)車程都不超過1個多小時,這樣最大限度地減少了車舟勞頓……</h3><h3>"兵馬末到,糧草先行",請?zhí)貏e注意:班芙景區(qū)內(nèi)許多景點(diǎn)都沒有食品供應(yīng)。班芙小鎮(zhèn)是大景區(qū)內(nèi)生活設(shè)施最齊全的地方,位于鎮(zhèn)中心的Information Center 你可以得到所有景區(qū)內(nèi)的地圖,及專業(yè)的旅游指導(dǎo)。它的公共交通可以通達(dá)班芙國家公園內(nèi)的主要景點(diǎn)。鎮(zhèn)中心有家超市IGA,幾乎可以買到你想吃的任何日常食物。鎮(zhèn)上可以找到日本、墨西哥、地中海等風(fēng)味的飯館,有家麥當(dāng)勞店,甚至還有一家不錯的中歺館,名叫銀龍。</h3><h3>如果將自駕與隨團(tuán)游做個比較的話,自駕游費(fèi)用要高些且煩心、耗體力。所以對年長者來講,不宜安排過長的時間。但自駕游在時間把握上就顯得靈活得多了,若遇上喜歡的景點(diǎn),可以多呆一會兒,全身心地放松自己,盡情地享受融入美景的那份愜意……</h3>
