Located in the Rocky Mountains, 110180 kilometres (68112 mi) west of Calgary in the province of Alberta, Banff encompasses 6,641 square kilometres (2,564 sq mi)[2] of mountainous terrain, with numerous glaciers and ice fields, dense coniferous forest, and alpine landscapes. </h3> <h3><b>班芙 </b>BANFF～群山環(huán)抱中的美麗小鎮(zhèn)</h3><h3>Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta, located within Banff National Park. Waterfalls include Wapta Falls, on the Kicking Horse River, and towering Takakkaw Falls. A trail circles turquoise-coloured Emerald Lake, with a nearby natural stone bridge. The Lake OHara area contains alpine lakes, cliffs and wooded trails. Viewpoints overlook trains entering the Spiral Tunnels on Kicking Horse Pass.</h3> <h3><b>翡翠湖</b> </h3><h3>Emerald Lake is located in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada. Its highest point is 302 metres from its base, making it the 45th tallest waterfall in eastern British Columbia.</h3> <h3><br /></h3><h3><br /></h3><h3>【嘗試了一次"說走就走"的自駕游】</h3><h3>我們夫妻倆人已經(jīng)年近七旬了，今年6月17日突發(fā)奇想，決定自己駕車游覽心儀已久的加拿大落基山脈的班芙景區(qū)。</h3><h3>首先在網(wǎng)上鉆研攻略，然后著手訂制適合自己的七天行程計劃，完成預(yù)定機(jī)票、旅館和自駕所需車輛。我們6月21日離開美國，27日返回北卡的家，歷程七天。說走就走，我們做到了。每天步行控制在一萬步左右，體驗了美景，實(shí)現(xiàn)了自己多年的宿愿。</h3><h3>我們選擇在加拿大卡爾加里Calgery著陸，因為它距班芙只有個109公里約1個多小時車程；落基山脈景區(qū)內(nèi)主要有班芙、幽鶴、庫特尼和賈斯珀四個國家公園，我們只選擇在前兩個景點(diǎn)最集中的公園旅游。住宿班芙小鎮(zhèn)5晚，所有計劃內(nèi)的景點(diǎn)車程都不超過1個多小時，這樣最大限度地減少了車舟勞頓……</h3><h3>"兵馬末到，糧草先行"，請?zhí)貏e注意：班芙景區(qū)內(nèi)許多景點(diǎn)都沒有食品供應(yīng)。班芙小鎮(zhèn)是大景區(qū)內(nèi)生活設(shè)施最齊全的地方，位于鎮(zhèn)中心的Information Center 你可以得到所有景區(qū)內(nèi)的地圖，及專業(yè)的旅游指導(dǎo)。它的公共交通可以通達(dá)班芙國家公園內(nèi)的主要景點(diǎn)。鎮(zhèn)中心有家超市IGA，幾乎可以買到你想吃的任何日常食物。鎮(zhèn)上可以找到日本、墨西哥、地中海等風(fēng)味的飯館，有家麥當(dāng)勞店，甚至還有一家不錯的中歺館，名叫銀龍。</h3><h3>如果將自駕與隨團(tuán)游做個比較的話，自駕游費(fèi)用要高些且煩心、耗體力。所以對年長者來講，不宜安排過長的時間。但自駕游在時間把握上就顯得靈活得多了，若遇上喜歡的景點(diǎn)，可以多呆一會兒，全身心地放松自己，盡情地享受融入美景的那份愜意……</h3>
