AYLUS stands for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States. We are a student-run non-profit organization based in the United States and we promote the development of its members’ leadership, integrity and innovation, through the planning and execution of volunteer projects that aim at benefiting their communities.美國青年領袖聯(lián)盟是一個學生運行的非盈利組織。我們提倡通過計劃和執(zhí)行有益于社區(qū)的義工活動來發(fā)展培養(yǎng)成員的領導力、誠信和發(fā)明創(chuàng)造等能力。 On November 30, 2018, forty-nine students led by Cassie Tammy Wang, an Award-Winning and Published Artist from the West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South, New Jersey, founded the 44th branch of AYLUS: Greater Princeton, also called GPA. Today, we have grown to over two hundred members.2018年十一月三十日，以新澤西州西溫莎市南高中九年級學生王丹玫為首的四十九名中學生創(chuàng)建了AYLUS大普林斯頓分部（簡稱GPA）。時至今日，我們已經(jīng)擁有了超過兩百名的成員。 Our two hundred plus members of GPA work as a team. We use talents in art, music, math, sports, science, engineering, bilingual skills, reading and writing to create unique community service projects.作為一個整體，GPA成員們利用自己在藝術、音樂、體育、數(shù)學、科學以及雙語言上的能力及特長創(chuàng)造了許多卓越的社區(qū)服務項目。 GPA routinely hosts "Music from the Heart” performances on holidays at the Veterans Memorial Home of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Merwick Care, Wishing Well Care, Atrium Senior Living, and John P. Fricano Towers Senior Residence to bring lots of joys to community.GPA常常于節(jié)假日在各個老年中心、榮軍院舉行“心靈之音”義演活動，為社區(qū)的退伍老兵、退休老人們帶去無限歡樂。 GPA sponsors the annual Charity Art Shows hosted at Sharron Art Center to raise $8145 dollars in order to help orphans in East Asia return to school for education.就在今年，GPA與莎倫畫院合作組織并贊助了年度慈善藝術展，為幫助東亞孤兒能回到校園受教育而募集了善款$8145。 GPA sponsors the 2019-2020 AYLUS International Art Contest, accepting artworks from any students of grade categories 4-12. GPA還倡議并策劃了美國青年領袖聯(lián)盟2019-2020年度國際繪畫大賽，接受來自四到十二年級不同年齡段青少年藝術家們的投稿作品。 GPA often promotes Cultural Exchange with newspapers in both English and Chinese, including The AYLUS Times, ChinaPress Junior Reporter Times, Global Chinese Times, Star News Week, and Chinese News Weekly.GPA經(jīng)常和多種英文和中文新聞媒體一起倡導文化交流活動。包括AYLUS時報、僑報小記者報、新州周報、新象周刊、新星周刊等。 GPA encourages its skilled members to help tutor other students, either local or abroad, in language or math, science or technology, academics or sports.GPA還大力倡導其下多才多藝的成員們在語言、數(shù)學、科學技術等學術領域以及體育領域方面給予本地和國外學生提供指導幫助服務。 GPA members also participates in “Conservation” events held by local townships, for example, Plainsboro’s stream clean ups, South Brunswick’s lakeside gardening, and Princeton’s “Roots for River” tree-planting events, as well as the Earth Team Volunteer Program at the Natural Resources Conservation Service for land use optimization.GPA成員積極參與附近社區(qū)的各種環(huán)保公益活動。例如春季各大公園的清掃、植樹活動，大家在踏青中完成了愉快的社區(qū)服務。 GPA cares for people in need. We serve meals and clean dishes at the Princeton Cornerstone Community Kitchen; we collect and donate used books to help build libraries for seniors and children.GPA也非常關心身邊那些需要幫助的人們。我們不但在社區(qū)食堂幫廚，而且還收集和捐獻舊書為老人和兒童們幫建圖書館。 We participate in national events such as “Walk to End Alzheimer's”.最近GPA剛剛參與了一場盛大的“步行終結阿爾茲海默癥”集會?！安叫薪K結阿爾茲海默癥”是世界上最大規(guī)模的呼吁關注阿爾茲海默癥和籌款資助醫(yī)學研究和病人護理的系列活動。 We apply BlockChain technology to collect and donate farm produce and hygiene products to local residence with food insecurity.GPA還運用區(qū)塊鏈技術幫助農(nóng)場收集各類剩余農(nóng)產(chǎn)品，提供給那些需要食物的本地居民。 GPA initiated the “We Save A Life” Community Service Benefit Foundation on June 1, 2019. Thirty members contributed to it. Fundraising events like lemonade stand sales, charity art exhibitions.2019年6月1日，GPA的三十位成員創(chuàng)建了社區(qū)服務創(chuàng)益基金會“We Save A Life”，舉行了一系列的義賣、慈善藝術作品展之類的募捐活動。 Benefit music performances are hosted regularly to financially support people in need, such as Ms. Su Wei, a teacher who was recently battling cancer alone by raising $5185 dollars from our benefit music performance.GPA還經(jīng)常組織音樂會義演，善款用于資助那些需要幫助的人們。最近我們就通過??音樂會義演為獨自和癌癥搏斗的蘇衛(wèi)老師籌集捐款$5185。 We will host our next Benefit Music Performance on December 14th, 2019 in Princeton, to support Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad.
